Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks with a high degree of precision and judgment. The technician will be responsible for assembling complex units, including cable harnesses and electronic systems, under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute assembly operations by interpreting production drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.
  • Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment to assemble components and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Identify and select appropriate components for integration into assemblies.
  • Conduct testing and inspection of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and quality checks throughout the assembly process.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior assemblers as needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a vocational or technical certificate or relevant coursework, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic assembly or a related field. A strong understanding of electromechanical systems and the ability to work with precision tools is essential.

Physical Requirements

This position may require occasional lifting of materials weighing up to 50 lbs and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, sitting, and using hands for detailed work.

Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by moderate noise levels due to machinery and the presence of moving mechanical parts. Safety protocols must be followed when handling materials.
