Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care services, including vital sign collection, weighing patients, and collecting specimens, in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • Assist providers with examination and treatment of patients, as well as with procedures, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to efficient patient flow through the clinic by assisting with scheduling, test appointments, and pre-certification.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by providers, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by cleaning exam rooms, equipment, and supplies, and restocking as needed.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including locating patient charts, filing, and completing routine forms.
  • Attend required meetings and in-service training sessions to stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
  • CERT (Certified LVN) license in the state of employment or compact.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
