Job Summary:
Optum is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical initiatives, and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Lead clinical teams and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based care pathways.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research studies and quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Residency training in General Psychiatry.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process.
- Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.
