Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to join our dynamic Operations team. This role is ideal for an analytical thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will engage with various departments including Sales, Product Development, Demand Planning, and Sourcing to enhance our inventory strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory replenishment for diverse product lines.
- Provide essential supply planning insights and recommendations.
- Utilize customer forecasts to formulate replenishment strategies for our manufacturing partners.
- Analyze purchasing decisions with operational and financial implications in mind.
- Generate purchase orders and maintain accurate reporting.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and packaging initiatives.
- Optimize inventory levels across multiple distribution centers to align with customer and operational goals.
- Work closely with the Distribution Center team to uphold inventory accuracy.
- Address supply chain challenges to minimize disruptions in service.
- Partner with Accounting for inventory reconciliation and adjustments.
- Collaborate with Finance on inventory cash flow projections.

Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Supply Planning or related fields.

- Proficient in advanced Excel functions.
- Experience in driving lead-time reduction initiatives.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices in new product development.
- Previous experience in consumer packaged goods or wholesale is preferred.
