About the Role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team at Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. As an HVAC sales representative, you will be responsible for communicating with customers, office staff, and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their HVAC needs and provide solutions.
  • Quote and Sales: Accurately quote prices for repairs and replacements, and consistently sell equipment, accessories, and promotional materials.
  • Training and Development: Participate in on-call assignments, back-up as required, and attend all required staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Physical Demands: Lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs, crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have sales experience and the ability to learn to determine residential HVAC service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
  • Knowledge: Understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems, and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures.
  • Training: Will receive training to expand knowledge base and areas of expertise, with further certification expected.
