Middle Market Banking Relationship Developer

Pacific Premier Bank's Middle Market Banking Group is seeking an experienced Sr. Relationship Manager to lead our commercial banking efforts in the San Diego market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with middle market clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering customized financial solutions to meet their needs.
Responsibilities:- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, strategic partnerships, and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Credit Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct thorough credit analyses, assess risk exposure, and negotiate credit terms and conditions with clients, ensuring alignment with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including loan officers, credit analysts, and sales teams, to ensure seamless execution of customer requests and effective communication of product offerings.
- Industry Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of specific industries to better understand client needs and challenges, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and consultant.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial banking, preferably in the middle market segment.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships in the San Diego market.
- Demonstrated expertise in credit analysis, risk management, and industry-specific knowledge.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,483 to $165,725, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, Pacific Premier Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
