KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Development
Guide, mentor, and cultivate the management team within the organization to attain operational excellence and nurture a culture of ongoing improvement.
Support and coach the organization’s leaders in establishing specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound objectives.
Strategic Planning and ExecutionWork alongside the company President to formulate and implement strategic initiatives that further the organization’s mission, goals, and growth, while enhancing revenue and profitability.
Collaborate with the President to create a clear vision for the organization’s future and effectively communicate this vision to inspire and unify the team.
Partner with the executive team to identify and explore new business opportunities within the market.
Operational ExcellenceOversee all facets of the company’s operations, with a primary focus on Safety, Quality, and Production (SQP). We are deliberate in our project approach.
Establish and uphold high-quality standards for production while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Manage the financial performance of the division by developing and monitoring budgets, setting financial goals, and implementing cost-control strategies.
Ensure the safety of all personnel by enforcing comprehensive health and safety protocols across all operations.
Direct research and development initiatives to innovate and enhance the company’s products and services.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
CollaborationRepresent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to elevate the company’s profile within the sector.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and other businesses within the group, including sales, marketing, finance, and engineering, to align operations with company objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the concrete, masonry, or construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity
- Demonstrated success in overseeing large-scale projects from inception to completion
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple departments
- In-depth understanding of the construction industry, including the latest technologies, materials, and methodologies
- Exceptional financial expertise with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools
- Solid grasp of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that support company growth and profitability
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel as necessary to oversee projects, attend conferences, and meet with clients
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) license or other relevant professional certifications are highly desirable
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and upholding the company's safety policies
