Lincoln Manufacturing is in search of a skilled individual to take on the role of Facilities Maintenance Lead at our Houston, TX facility.

Key Responsibilities

This role is essential in supporting the Operations Department by ensuring that production machinery is functioning optimally. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the company's facilities to meet established standards.
The following duties are representative of the role but are not exhaustive. The employee may be asked to perform additional job-related tasks as required by management.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance checks; conduct safety compliance assessments and keep accurate records of production machinery.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and maintain comprehensive records; ensure safety compliance is upheld.
  • Guide personnel in machinery start-up processes and operational procedures.
  • Procure services for components necessary for repairs or preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Explore innovative technologies and automation solutions to reduce overall manufacturing costs.
  • Ensure that all company facilities, including buildings and grounds, are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage maintenance of facilities.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as required.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of CNC milling machines, lathe turning machines, band saws, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics (PLC), HVAC, carpentry, welding, machining, and fabrication. Proficiency in troubleshooting within these areas is essential. Experience with stamping equipment maintenance is preferred.

Supervision:
This position receives regular guidance and instructions from the Management Team. The incumbent will make decisions within the scope of their responsibilities related to equipment inspection and maintenance. Daily reviews of the incumbent's work will be conducted by the manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role includes direct supervision of maintenance staff on a daily basis.

Collaboration:
This position requires frequent interaction with the Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, Management, Leads, and other team members. Regular communication with various office and production personnel is also expected.

Physical Requirements:
This role necessitates constant standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers, along with frequent communication. Occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required. The incumbent must be capable of frequently lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds. Good vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish colors are essential.

Work Environment:
This position operates in both indoor office and manufacturing settings, as well as outdoor environments. Occasional travel by car may be necessary. The role may involve exposure to fumes, gases, odors, dust, airborne particles, and other environmental factors. A moderate to loud noise level is typical in this work environment.
