Job Description

Plano-Coudon is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the Baltimore office. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing construction projects between $5M - $25M, with expertise in renovation and base building. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive construction services, including customer service and satisfaction, to meet the clients' expectations.
  • Ensure project controls are executed consistently and professionally, including tracking project budgets and preparing forecasts, maintaining project schedules, reviewing and tracking submittals, and managing project close-out.
  • Lead comprehensive preconstruction efforts, including cost estimates and studies, value engineering, scheduling, constructability reviews, site logistics planning, and cash flow projections.
  • Participate in new business development activities, including outreach to peer groups, owners, architects, and engineers, and follow up with current clients to solicit satisfaction with the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager, with experience as the lead project manager on GC or CM projects.
  • Ability to manage projects $5M - $25M, with interest in gaining experience building larger work.
  • Experience with Procore and P6 preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with business partners.
  • Strong communication skills, relationship orientation, client service focus, ability to motivate and lead teams, and high accountability.
