We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Ebenezer. As a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personal care services to our senior assisted living residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
  • Provide health-related services, such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, and vital sign checks, under the direction of a nurse.
  • Perform various tasks, including laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observe residents and report their status to appropriate staff members.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff members.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and support others.
  • Curiosity and willingness to work with a diverse and older population.
  • CNA certification (if under 18 years old).
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.
  • Previous work experience as a HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, or PCA.
