Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research projects under the general direction of the PI, with a focus on vascular inflammation, atherosclerosis, and Alzheimer's disease.
  • Develop and design new research projects, including experimental approaches and data analysis.
  • Train and supervise research technicians and students, and facilitate individual projects.
  • Investigate and evaluate research methods, and suggest options for improving experimental processes and quality.
  • Perform data analysis, conference presentations, and manuscript preparation.
Requirements
  • PhD or terminal degree in hand by time of start.
  • Strong background in cellular and molecular physiology.
  • Proven track record of conducting independent research projects.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
