Overview of the Role
The Lane County Behavioral Health - Mobile Crisis Service Team is seeking proactive and skilled professionals to fill the role of Crisis Services Supervisor. This position is pivotal in overseeing the operations and support of the Mobile Crisis Service of Lane County program (MCS-LC), designed to enhance support for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises throughout the county.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate team meetings and provide both group and individual supervision.
- Engage with individuals receiving services to ensure quality care.
- Plan and supervise crisis-related behavioral health initiatives.
- Document quality improvement efforts and contribute to program planning and policy development.
- Ensure the provision of a comprehensive work schedule for MCS-LC team members, maintaining 24/7 crisis response capabilities.
- Provide backup crisis intervention services as needed to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with fellow supervisors and senior management to advance behavioral health initiatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who are solution-oriented, passionate about service, and dedicated to making connections. Candidates must possess one of the following Oregon Health Licensures:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Professional Counselor
- Licensed Psychologist
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
- Experience in crisis intervention and management, including work in crisis triage centers or community outreach.
- Proven ability to oversee and implement treatment services.
- Experience collaborating with community partners, including law enforcement and correctional facilities.
- Knowledge of behavioral health treatment systems and effective service delivery.
- Experience in organizational development and communication planning.
- Commitment to advancing health equity and working with diverse populations.
Special Requirements
- Oregon Health Licensure is mandatory.
- Valid Oregon Driver's License.
