**Job Summary**

As a key member of the SF Staffing Solutions team, the Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. This includes ensuring that production requirements are met, staffing levels are maintained, and a safe and clean environment is maintained.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and control manufacturing activities in assigned work areas to achieve established management goals.
  • Perform moderate to heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Facilitate employee team operations and arrange for proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Report daily indicators, including production scraps, and investigate material variances.
  • Solicit and encourage process, procedure, and equipment improvements from team members.
  • Assign work to meet daily manufacturing requirements and audit Standard Work Practices for each area.
  • Prepare shift reports and control labor and material usage to meet or improve standard costs.
  • Coordinate workflow with Production Control and maintain accurate database information regarding employee training and certification.

**Employee Relations**

  • Coach and provide consistent application of employee relations policies.
  • Review and coach employees in accordance with plant goals.
  • Maintain accurate database information regarding employee training and certification.
  • Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and flexible scheduling.
