Under the guidance of a licensed nurse, you will be responsible for administering oral, inhalation, and topical medications to patients.
Additionally, you will monitor patients for any adverse drug reactions, take vital signs, and assist the Charge Nurse in delivering comprehensive patient care. Your duties will also include maintaining medication carts and ensuring that support staff conduct regular rounds. Most importantly, you will foster an atmosphere of warmth and empathy, contributing to a calm environment throughout the unit.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current, unencumbered certification to practice as a Certified Medication Technician in the state of Ohio is mandatory.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the healthcare sector is required.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
