Job Title: Quality Control Engineer Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer Supervisor to join our team at Kyocera International, Inc. in Vancouver, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of measurement systems, instruments, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the inspection lab activities, including workload assignment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with metrology procedures & best practices for inspection processes.
- Perform complex calibrations and measurements and provide technical expertise and guidance to staff as needed.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to determine inspection & equipment requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, and engineering, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Metrology, Engineering, or a related field. OR 7 years of experience in metrology or quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles, standards, and methodologies.
- Excellent written or oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment.
