About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Advancement Services Director to join our team at Tulane University Staff. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing the strategic management and operational execution of all advancement information services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership in the development and maintenance of a robust infrastructure to support fundraising, alumni engagement, and donor stewardship goals.
  • Oversight and leadership of the implementation, transition, and ongoing adoption of a new Salesforce CRM system.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and drive results.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Technical experience in areas such as information and data delivery, data and solution architecture, web programming, relational databases, systems management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in team leadership and organizational practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in advancement services, information systems, or data management within a higher education or nonprofit organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with CRM systems (notably Salesforce), reporting tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing large datasets, ensuring data integrity, and leading system implementations or upgrades.
  • Experience in a research university environment.
  • Hands on experience implementing and supporting a Salesforce advancement solution, preferably Affinaquest.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
