About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care and support to patients, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and documentation of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to case managers and physicians.
  • Ensure infection control policies are maintained and report any incidents or concerns.
  • Accurately document patient care and communicate with family members, case managers, and physicians.
  • Order supplies and medications as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Completed post-secondary coursework to facilitate licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  • Knowledge of individual service plans and understanding of client rights and health needs.
  • Proof of current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing from the state(s) of practice.
  • CPR certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion.
  • In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
  • Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for several medical conditions.
