About the Role:This is a full-time opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for providing patient-focused care to individuals of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients. Our urgent care clinic is open 362 days a year, and you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and conditions.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including colds, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
- Perform minor procedures, such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Provide suturing and splinting services
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management
- Review x-rays and provide general dermatology and eye care
- Provide emergency management skills and general GYN expertise
- Treat children of all ages and provide occupational medicine services
- Participate in telemedicine and provide patient care through this platform
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN or higher education required
- DOT certification or willingness to become certified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
