CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for the diagnosis of medical issues. Your expertise will enable our medical staff to provide accurate and timely diagnoses, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography equipment to take images of patients' bodies from different angles.
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions.
- Administer contrast materials and prepare patients for CT scans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality images.
- Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a valid RT(CT) credential.
- One year of diagnostic experience, preferably in CT imaging.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Computerized Tomography (CT) certification or associate degree.
