Job Overview:

Proficiency in reading and understanding English is essential, along with the ability to comprehend safety protocols, operational maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

The role involves repetitive movements and overhead work.

Candidates must be capable of using their hands for grasping, handling, and feeling, as well as reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing.

Regular tasks require standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, twisting, and working on or within aircraft.

Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing may also be necessary.

Frequent lifting and/or pushing or pulling of up to 25 pounds is required, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities necessary for this position include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While executing essential job functions, candidates will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary to perform tasks safely.

Regular exposure to vibrations and frequent encounters with moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles are expected.

Candidates must be adept at properly using, handling, and disposing of hazardous materials and toxic or caustic chemicals in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, high and precarious locations, outdoor weather conditions, and electrical shock risks is part of the job.

Candidates are expected to work safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean, Foreign Object Damage (FOD)-free workspace.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in F16 or fighter aircraft structural repair or aircraft sheet metal work.
  • Must possess a craftsman level (7 Level USAF) in a similar role, system, or equivalent experience, such as Navy, Army, or A&P.


Desired Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals, including understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
  • Capability to identify aircraft locations by station, buttline, and waterline as indicated in engineering documentation and technical orders.
  • Proficiency in solving practical problems and managing a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform multiple skill requirements.
  • Willingness to undergo training and/or certification in specialized skills.
Per diem is offered.

  • 10% of total hours worked will be compensated upon successful completion of the work with no performance or workmanship issues identified, such as tardiness, absenteeism, or poor quality of work.
