Key Responsibilities:

Design:
Create electric motor control systems tailored for specific applications.

Application:
Implement specifications for Magnetic Motor Starters, Relays, and AC inverters.

Support:
Contribute to all stages of product development engineering tasks.

Calculations:
Determine wire sizes and overload protection for systems operating up to 800V DC and 4160V AC.

Problem Resolution:
Address manufacturing issues by collaborating with engineers and technicians.

Drawings:
Develop single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and interconnect schematics.

Component Specification:
Size and specify components and BOMs based on industry standards and vendor data.

Design Improvement:
Offer suggestions for design enhancements to improve functionality or reduce costs.

Circuit Modification:
Revise and enhance existing circuit designs as required.

Collaboration:
Partner with mechanical engineering and manufacturing teams for control system design.

Documentation:
Create connection and cable diagrams along with general arrangement drawings.

Field Support:
Travel to various sites for meetings or troubleshooting control systems as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering

4+ years of experience in Electrical Design

3+ years of experience with Motor Controls

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2016 or Zuken E3

Experience in PLC & HMI Programming

Familiarity with NEC Electrical Code

Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or Danfoss PLC/VFD programming
