Unit Details

This role involves inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic duties, and on-call responsibilities.

Daily Operations

Patient Volume: Typically 2 OR cases per day during rounding.

Support Staff: General front and back office support available.

EMR System: Epic (HealthConnect)

Licensure and Certifications

Required: Active Oregon License (consideration for licensing), BLS, RNFA Certification for NP.

Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible.

Credentialing

Timeframe: 45-60 days upon submission of a complete application.

Shift Information

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with on-call rotation of 1:4 for both weekdays and weekends.

Housing and Travel

Provisions: All-inclusive housing and travel arrangements.

Compensation Structure

Payment: Bid-based compensation.

Health and Safety

Requirements: Covid vaccination with booster required.

Daily Responsibilities

Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and operating room duties, with the possibility of being assigned to OR based on skill level.

Experience Requirements: Proficiency in pulling epicardial wires, chest tubes, vein harvesting, and must be skilled in endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting. Experience with radial artery harvesting is preferred.
