Contract Type: Temporary
Location: Hybrid
Compensation: $35-40 per hour
Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will collaborate with management across various departments to develop and uphold the Schedule of Value (SOV), Statement of Work (SOW), and Item Master records essential for bidding and awarding materials as well as engineering and construction service contracts. The focus will be on establishing and executing item master records and SOVs to reduce costs, achieve cost savings, and standardize bids and contracts. Additionally, the Business Analyst will support process enhancement initiatives across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate processes to guarantee standardization, consistency, and accurate cost accounting across all departments.
- Oversee the National Schedules of Value (SOV) and Statements of Work (SOW) documentation for all departments.
- Enhance SOV processes and formats to align with Supply Chain strategic goals, including volume discount negotiations and minimizing service expenditures.
- Manage change requests for all SOVs and SOWs nationally, facilitating cross-functional discussions and approvals.
- Ensure new SOV and SOWs are aligned with Job Costing and IT, tracking updates until completion.
- Create, maintain, and eliminate Item Master numbers within the ERP systems.
- Align processes and documentation across all departments to leverage additional volume discount opportunities and improve financial reporting.
- Assist in executing Supply Chain projects to meet organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years in services management, construction management, project management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining trusting relationships.
- Solid understanding of Small Cell, Fiber, and/or Tower businesses.
- Familiarity with data sets for reporting purposes.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and manage resources effectively.
- Experience in executing process improvement projects and project management.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards and Oracle systems.
- Proficiency in VBA is a plus.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience with JDE, Oracle, and Item & Service Master.
