We are currently seeking a Wood Finishing Specialist to enhance our Millwork division. This role is essential in executing finishing tasks to create premium wood products efficiently and cost-effectively.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Ideal Candidate Traits:

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in wood finishing or paint-related fields is preferred but not mandatory

In this role, you will:

  • Apply various finishing materials such as paints, stains, varnishes, lacquers, and polyurethanes to wood and other surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the spray booth, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Monitor quality control throughout the finishing process.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including quality control checks and hazardous waste logs.
  • Conduct time studies and material estimates as required.
  • Set up production spray lines efficiently.
  • Assist in training and developing fellow team members.
  • Undertake miscellaneous projects and tasks as directed by management.
