POSITION SUMMARY

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will deliver exceptional, personalized patient care in partnership with the nursing staff. Your proactive approach and dedication to patient care will be vital to the success of our healthcare team.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time / Part-Time

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Long Term Care Facility

SCHEDULE: Shifts available: 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, and 11pm - 7am

COMPENSATION: $19.25/hr (subject to experience)

FACILITY OVERVIEW

Rochester Regional Health's Clifton Springs Nursing Home provides a holistic approach to long-term care, offering skilled nursing services alongside wellness therapies such as massage and acupuncture. Our facility accommodates 108 residents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Care & Support: Assist residents with activities as outlined in individualized care plans; facilitate transportation to activities; provide recreational activities; conduct evaluations and report findings; offer emotional support to residents and families.
  • Safety Assurance: Help maintain a clean and secure environment for residents.
  • Communication & Documentation: Guide families to appropriate professional staff; respond promptly to resident requests; exchange reports with team members and leaders.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

CERTIFICATIONS:

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Medium Work - Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; frequent walking, standing, or squatting is necessary.
