We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advanced care to patients in the outpatient setting, including performing selected invasive procedures and designing individualized treatment plans.
- Assume management of patients for orthopedic conditions, functioning in both an independent and collaborative role with the physician and other members of the healthcare team.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Facilitate transitions of patients between service units and provide/coordinate complex patient and family teaching.
- Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse).
- 3-5 years of previous job-related experience, with a preference for 6-10 years of experience.
- Current Registered Nurse License - State of Illinois, Nursing Practitioner License - State of Illinois, and Physician Assistant License.
- Specialty certification in a clinical or functional area of nursing granted by a national nursing organization is preferred.
