POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the close supervision of the Support Services management team, the role involves the safe and efficient transportation of patients, medical records, equipment, and various items within the hospital or clinic settings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities, along with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills are essential, both in person and via telephone.
  • Confidentiality of patient and unit-care information must be maintained in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Post-training, the ability to consistently apply proper lifting techniques is required.
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements is mandatory.
  • Post-training, proficiency in utilizing technology related to transport management software is necessary.
  • This includes handling work requests through the designated technology.
