Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Home Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the new home purchase process from initial customer contact to closing, with a focus on creating a positive and memorable experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their home buying needs and preferences, utilizing our sales philosophy to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, including self-generating sales leads through community engagement and realtor partnerships.
  • Provide comprehensive knowledge of our products, community features, and demographics to customers, ensuring a seamless and informed home buying experience.
  • Maintain accurate communication records and follow through with customers from initial contact to post-closing, ensuring a positive and lasting impression.
  • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs to stay informed and up-to-date on company initiatives and goals.
  • Ensure the maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks to stay connected with customers and team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical and Office/Site Presence Requirements

This is a primarily active position, involving office/phone work and walking in all weather conditions, and uneven surfaces, to and within homesites in the community. Must have a valid state driver's license in order to take customers throughout the neighborhood and community, visit realtor offices, and to various other meetings in the process of self-generating sales. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard and telephone equipment. Must be able to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 25 pounds.
