Job Title: Senior Oil and Gas Project Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oil and Gas Project Engineer to join our team at VINCI Construction France. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of projects in the Milan office, working closely with the London Focal point to ensure technical issues are resolved and coordination between Milan and London engineering centres is effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of projects in the Milan office, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project schedules.
  • Work closely with the London Focal point to resolve technical issues and ensure effective coordination between Milan and London engineering centres.
  • Liaise with the Contractor's Milan team, monitor its activities, and report to the Onshore Engineering Manager on progress.
  • Assist the Onshore Engineering Manager in the administration of the Milan office project team and provide technical oversight and coordination.
  • Ensure all Project HSE requirements are adhered to and implemented.
  • Expedite the flow of technical information and understand contractual requirements.
  • Assist in the development of the detailed engineering schedule and monitor progress.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables from the Milan office are produced in accordance with project schedules.
  • Monitor quality of design work and prepare weekly and monthly reports of activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Ten or more years' experience in Oil and Gas and large projects.
  • Knowledge of LNG Projects, offshore pipeline systems, oil and gas facilities, construction activities, and subsea components.
  • Ability to assimilate, organize, and integrate information from numerous sources and communicate effectively with internal project and external teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical matters to staff not conversant with the detailed technical area.
  • Able to manage time effectively, both own time and that of a team to achieve delivery of work against agreed schedules.
  • Self-starter with a strong delivery focus and good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience of working on projects with multiple interfaces, with a global team, and with diverse cultures.
  • Proficient in English language.
