We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth East Orlando. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment safely and properly.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all exams using established protocols and educate patients concerning the exam.
- Properly screen patients for any contrast allergies and operate all imaging equipment in a safe manner minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
- Complete required documentation for Radiologist support and position patients and equipment to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field.
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Science program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Completion of Radiologic Technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
- General Radiographer state license as required by state if applicable.
