Salary
This nursing professional role offers an estimated annual salary range of $96,192 to $133,172, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, or bonus opportunities.
Job Description
As a registered nurse in our radiation oncology department, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include administering treatments, monitoring patients' responses, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop personalized treatment plans.
In this role, you will be expected to provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with patients and families, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of one year of experience in a similar setting is preferred, although new graduates may also apply.
You must hold a valid RN license and be certified in basic life support (BLS) by the American Heart Association. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical records systems and be familiar with radiation therapy equipment and procedures.
