Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Environmental Remediation Project Manager to join our team at RECON. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing construction work on environmental remediation and earthwork construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Oversight: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of environmental remediation and earthwork construction projects.
  • Site Management: Supervise and manage site operations, including direct supervision of crew, construction equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce RECON's behavioral safety program, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and ensure quality control of work performed daily, adhering to project specifications and technical documents.
  • Communication and Reporting: Generate daily reports, document progress, and provide regular updates to project management.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an adequate inventory of materials and heavy equipment on-site, ensuring timely completion of work activities.
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct incident and accident investigations, reporting issues to mitigate risk and ensure employee safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: Ten or more years of construction experience, including five years of direct field supervision and direct oversight of crew, heavy equipment, and construction project work.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of safety related to the safe operation of earth-moving construction equipment, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Travel: Must be willing and able to travel to job site locations as assigned to work on-site and manage daily operations.
