This employed faculty position offers a unique opportunity to provide pediatric surgical services in a collegial and tight-knit community of residents and faculty. Our department is committed to training confident and compassionate physicians and delivering evidence-based, family-centered care for a diverse population.

Key Highlights
  • Employed position with a faculty appointment at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Amarillo campus
  • Opportunity to work in a Level II trauma center and an accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
  • Shared call with another pediatric surgeon
  • Surgical consultations and follow-up care in the clinic at TTUHSC Amarillo campus 2 days per week

Qualifications
  • BC/BE in Pediatric Surgery
  • Become board certified within a year of hire date if BE
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Surgical residency program
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship
  • Exemplary clinical skills, a team spirit, collegiality, and interest in teaching
  • Clean background and medical license record
