CDL A Delivery Driver Trainee Opportunity

Ginsberg's Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CDL A Delivery Driver Trainee to join our team in Scotia/Hudson. As a CDL A Delivery Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload heavy product from the truck at customer locations using a hand truck and ramps.
  • Navigate various surfaces, inclines, steps, and stairs while delivering product to the appropriate location at the customer's place of business.
  • Interact in a professional manner with customers, attempting to resolve concerns as they arise.
  • Receive cash from customers when necessary and handle cash in accordance with company policy.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the tractor and trailer in accordance with Ginsberg's Foods policy and procedures.

We offer a competitive pay rate starting at $18-$20 per hour without experience, with opportunities to earn annual performance-based raises. With a Class A permit, you can earn up to $25 per hour, and upon receiving your Class A license, you can earn up to $28 per hour. Additional rapid pay increases are available based on time spent with the company.
