Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Class A vehicle to transport goods to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Plan and adjust routes as necessary to ensure successful completion of job tasks while maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation Hours of Service regulations.
  • Communicate with Ginsberg's Foods Transportation management and staff regarding departure and arrival times.
  • Collect and verify instructions from appropriate sources.
  • Read and understand Bills of Lading to determine assignment details.
  • Follow special cargo-related procedures.
  • Set and monitor refrigeration systems to maintain correct temperature requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience driving with your Class A license. You should also be a self-driven and motivated individual who is open to new challenges and can work independently.

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including $31.25 an hour, with higher base pay negotiable in an interview based on years of driving. Our benefits also include 401(k) and Roth 401(k) retirement savings plans, healthcare insurance, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays, access to in-person mental health counseling, new equipment, quarterly incentives, boot allowance 2x a year, company-provided uniforms, employee assistance programs, and company-provided life insurance.
