Position Overview

Autism Spectrum Therapies ("AST"), a prominent organization in the field of autism services, is seeking a highly skilled master's-level ABA professional for the role of Managing Technician. This position is tailored for an experienced individual eager to enhance their assessment capabilities while progressing towards BCBA certification.

With nearly 100 BCBAs across multiple states, AST provides ongoing professional development and opportunities to engage in research initiatives. This role presents a valuable chance to be part of a reputable and expanding organization, paving the way for success in the ABA sector.

The Managing Technician will play a crucial role in supporting clients and overseeing Behavior Therapists in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Accumulate indirect supervision hours necessary for BCBA certification
  • Supervise a team of approximately five interventionists and manage client caseloads
  • Design client objectives and clinical strategies
  • Facilitate parent training and educational sessions
  • Prepare progress documentation and lead regular team discussions
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • At least one year of experience working with children diagnosed with autism
  • Eligibility for BCBA or in the process of accruing certification hours
  • Extensive background in applied behavioral analysis
  • Proven proficiency in all facets of the Behavior Interventionist role
  • Ability to mentor and train colleagues
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • BCaBA certification is preferred but not mandatory
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable but not required
