Job Overview

Cambridge International Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled VDI Systems Engineer to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex and robust VDI implementations, supporting infrastructure in both unclassified and classified domains, and providing Tier 3 support for end-user issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain VDI environments to ensure stability and continued operation
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver VDI solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and customers
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of VDI components
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to our VDI environment
Requirements
  • Current DoD Secret security clearance and eligibility for DoD Top Secret clearance, NATO Indoctrination, and TESA accreditation
  • Extensive knowledge of VDI environments and large-scale VDI deployments
  • Experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop/Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
  • Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) certification
  • CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater) certification
  • Proficiency in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position
Desired Qualifications
  • ITIL v3 or v4 – Foundation certification
  • Experience with Citrix licensing and Microsoft licensing as it pertains to VDI environments
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements
  • Experience managing Citrix Netscaler/ADC load balancing
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
  • Experience in the evaluation and integration of new technologies into existing environments
  • Demonstrated background troubleshooting complex IT issues
Travel Requirements
  • Active Passport
  • In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required
Physical Environment and Working Conditions

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel, Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

Office setting: Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc. May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
