Position Overview:

The Surgical Technology Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the surgical team throughout the surgical process.

Under the mentorship and direct oversight of the Registered Nurse and the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), this role offers practical experience while contributing to patient care by managing resources on the sterile field. This includes the delegation of specific tasks and procedures aligned with the responsibilities of the externship.

Qualifications:

  • Must be an active student in a CST program, having successfully completed the first year of the curriculum, including the skills practicum.
