Job Summary

TAT Technologies Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Welder to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations in Tulsa, OK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of welders in the fabrication process, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Operate gas tungsten arc equipment, measuring and aligning workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers.
  • Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment and ensure compliance with established health and safety policies and regulations.
  • Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of piping systems and metal structures.
  • Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with TIG and/or exotic metals.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Completion of technical training or apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of both TIG and MIG welding preferred.
  • Aerospace/Aviation experience a plus.
  • Welding certification preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to pass TAT Limco welding test.
