Job Summary

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for patient populations according to protocols established by radiologists.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film, taking appropriate actions when service calls are required.
  • Provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to procedures and reviewing and verifying physician's orders.
  • Administer IV contrast safely and effectively, prep patients according to established protocols, and assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures.
  • Provide emergency on-call services and instruction to new CT scan technologists.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT scanning preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and NJ DEP licensure required.
  • Advanced level ARRT certification in CT Scan preferred.
