CT Technologist Full-time 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Virtua Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for our patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film, taking appropriate actions when service calls are required.
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to the procedure and reviewing and verifying physician's orders.
- Administer IV contrast safely and effectively, prep patients according to established protocols, and assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures.
- Provide emergency on-call services where indicated and assist in training new CT scan technologists.
- Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- N.J. DEP licensure required.
