We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at AdeIphi Medical Staffing for a contract/travel opportunity in High Point, NC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with our experienced RNs and physicians.

About the Job

This contract position offers a competitive salary range of $1,356-$1,220 per 40-hour period, depending on your travel or local status. The job requires a valid and active LPN State license and BLS certification.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients under the guidance of RNs or physicians, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, encompassing physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews, to develop personalized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately, adhering to established protocols.
  • Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while actively monitoring for infection or complications.
  • Maintain detailed patient records, documenting changes in their condition, administered treatments, and medication management.
  • Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices.
  • Administer intravenous (IV) medications and fluids, ensuring proper insertion and functioning of IV lines.
  • Provide care for patients with urinary catheters, including insertion, routine maintenance, and diligent monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
