A dynamic medical laboratory in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Pathologist Assistant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art laboratory, providing anatomical, molecular, and diagnostics interpretations.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. They will be responsible for assisting pathologists with various tasks, including slide preparation, microscope examination, and test results analysis.
Responsibilities- Assist pathologists with surgical procedures and post-mortem examinations
- Prepare and examine microscopic slides for diagnostic purposes
- Analyze test results and provide accurate reports to healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred)
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pathologist Assistant (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- Current ASCP Certification as a Pathologist Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
