Job Overview:
  • The Registered Nurse - ICU position involves working in a fast-paced environment with critically ill patients requiring life-support systems.

This role requires the ability to rapidly assess patient conditions, manage various life-support systems, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with appropriate care
  • Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
  • Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
  • Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
  • Administer medications and other treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
Requirements:
  • ADN or higher degree in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Ability to function effectively under stress
  • Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
