KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain precise inventory records within the facility.
  • Ensure sufficient stock of materials and products in alignment with inventory cycles and organizational strategies.
  • Perform daily inventory assessments to address discrepancies.
  • Oversee inventory levels, product movements, and manage non-conforming items as per established Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Lead a team of cycle counters and inventory analysts responsible for ongoing inventory counts, investigations, and comprehensive wall-to-wall physical inventories in a multi-client logistics and distribution center.
  • Coordinate and enhance cycle counting processes to achieve company objectives and customer-driven key performance indicators.
  • Adjust work schedules to meet shipping deadlines effectively.
  • Enhance Inventory Control practices, pursue standardization in a multi-client setting, and promote a culture of inventory management and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
  • Act as an advocate for inventory control within the facility, engaging directly with clients and suppliers regarding inventory, processes, and systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement inventory control improvement strategies and initiatives focused on cost savings and quality enhancements.
  • Lead specific projects as part of the site leadership team to establish standards, processes, tools, and systems.
  • Track metrics and analyze cycle count accuracy, SKU adjustments, inventory shrinkage, and other established KPIs to evaluate performance and drive improvements.
  • Foster a safe and organized work environment.
  • Investigate and initiate corrective measures to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Evaluate the productivity and cost-effectiveness of the inventory control department; develop initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and reduce expenses.
  • Provide guidance to operations and account management on best practices and industry standards concerning inventory management and continuous improvement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's degree in warehousing, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • 5-6 years of experience in warehousing and distribution environments.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and highly organized.
  • Strong administrative, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage personnel, processes, and technology.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • High adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where requirements may shift rapidly.
  • Certification to train on powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, turret trucks, and clamp trucks is preferred.
