Position Overview:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Leader, you will spearhead the Quality Engineering initiatives for a global IT organization.

Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Guide and mentor a growing team of Quality Engineers, ensuring high standards in testing practices and methodologies.
  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and budget constraints while effectively communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across various platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and external vendors, to align testing efforts with project goals.
  • Environment Setup: Establish and maintain testing environments tailored to specific project needs.
  • Defect Management: Document, track, and validate defects, ensuring clear communication of issues and resolutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years in a Software Quality Engineering role, with a proven track record in leading QA teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with retail systems.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking systems, particularly Jira, and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, as well as automation frameworks like Selenium.

Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with load testing tools such as JMeter.
  • Knowledge of modern technologies, including Microservices and Cloud-based applications.
