Your Role

Molex is seeking an Enterprise Product Consultant within our Datacom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) division to support our extensive range of enterprise products and serve our global clientele. Our team specializes in providing data center solutions through innovative connector and cable products designed to meet current demands while anticipating future requirements. The Enterprise Product Consultant will play a pivotal role in assisting multiple product families and their respective Product Managers within the Enterprise products sector.

Our Team

The Enterprise Product Consultant will collaborate closely with Enterprise Product Managers and New Product Development Managers to formulate and execute strategic marketing, commercialization, and promotional initiatives. This position serves as a vital support function to various Product Managers for designated product lines, aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving product adoption. Furthermore, the Enterprise Product Consultant will participate in product training, digital initiatives, sales launches, and other marketing activities that contribute to achieving divisional revenue objectives. Additionally, this role will involve supporting strategic endeavors such as liaising with manufacturing personnel, managing sample shipments to sales teams, participating in trade shows, and developing customer-facing materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refresh product marketing materials to effectively promote products through the website and other marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish cohesive and standardized formats for technical documentation across each product family, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist Product Managers and New Product Development Managers with operational tasks such as order tracking, sample shipments, and prototype development.
  • Work with Product Managers to refine product messaging for enhanced internal and external promotion, including but not limited to roadmaps, presentations, and brochures.
  • Partner with the Molex MarCom team on product release documentation to facilitate the market introduction of new products through established processes.
  • Assess and implement strategies for various products related to distribution partnerships, inventory packages, registrations, and other strategic distribution efforts.
  • Acquire knowledge of essential SAP functions/screens, BW reporting, and financial oversight; assist Enterprise Product Managers by generating various reports and analyses as required.
  • Cultivate an understanding of Enterprise industries, customers, markets, and relevant Molex products through proactive research and customer interaction; expected to eventually lead product training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering, sales, product development, marketing, or electrical components.
  • Proven ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the connector industry.
  • A motivated individual with a keen interest in high-speed, data center, and hyperscale markets.
