Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in a minimum of 2 or 3 modalities, including Diagnostic/Xray, CT, Mammography, MRI, and Ultrasound. You will provide basic patient care, maintain equipment, transport patients, and prepare and maintain documentation.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatment to be performed.
- Position patients appropriately for radiographic procedures and perform radiographic procedures according to departmental guidelines.
- Develop and evaluate radiographic results for technical quality and apply learned methodologies with independent judgment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, archiving imaging data as needed or required.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Associates of Applied Science or other related fields required.
- Certification and licensures vary by modality, including MRTBE, ARRT, and BLS.
- Minimum 1 year experience as an imaging technologist required, with 3 years experience preferred.
- Experience in hospital Trauma 1 and Trauma 2 environment.
- Experience in Diagnostic Radiology and/or CT, Mammography, and MRI.
