Position Summary

We are in search of a dedicated Medical Assistant to become a vital part of our team in Portland, Oregon. The Medical Assistant role is essential to the DrSnip Care Team, requiring strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the DrSnip Care Team, the Medical Assistant will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and superior experience for each patient. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for examinations and procedures with empathy and care.
  • Accurately documenting health information, including vital signs and pre/post-procedure details.
  • Assisting physicians during procedures and providing post-operative care.
  • Managing the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Educating patients about vasectomy procedures and the male reproductive system.
  • Discussing birth control options with patients and their partners.
  • Handling appointment scheduling and providing phone support.
  • Explaining surgical risks, complications, and aftercare instructions to patients.
  • Addressing any questions or concerns patients may have during consultations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting hourly pay at $26, with increases based on experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Work Schedule
