Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Veterinarian to join our team as an In-Home Associate Veterinarian. As a key member of our mobile veterinary team, you will provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets, guiding families in making end-of-life decisions and building relationships with local veterinary clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, ensuring a peaceful and dignified experience for both the pet and their family.
  • Guide families in making informed end-of-life decisions, offering emotional support and guidance throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local veterinary clinics, serving as an extension of their excellent care and providing a seamless transition for pet families.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring the highest level of service and support for our clients.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a strong background in end-of-life care and hospice services.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. assisted, with the capacity to walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, stand, and reach consistently during the workday.
